Retro in Basel - Lambretta Watches causes a stir

Lambretta Watches caused quite a stir with its beautiful collection of watches at the worlds most prestigious watch convention, which was held in Basel in March. The steady stream of visitors was impressed by the 31 items watch retro collection, constructed of the highest quality stainless steel, high precision Japanese quartz works and crystal watch faces. The watches are also waterproof to a depth of 50 metres. The newly launched Lambretta Watch Collection is currently available for purchase in Scandinavia and the UK. "16 countries from various continents expressed a strong degree of interest in having Lambretta Watches established in their region. Three of these potential client countries had gone through every exhibitor with a fine toothed comb and determined that Lambretta Watches had the best watches at the convention", says Niklas Dahlgren, President of Trendpoint AB, Lambretta Watches primary agent.
1950s and 1960s
During the convention, Lambretta Watches strong references to the exciting use of colour and design from the 1950s and 1960s , attracted a great deal of attention. One of the big favourites was the Speedo model, which, with its soft, round, sloping form, resemblies the Lambretta scootersbeautiful speedometer.
The watch convention in Basel is the most exclusive and prestigious convention of its type, and is widely respected by watch manufacturers throughout the world. Just being allowed to participate in the event was a huge success for the newly established Lambretta Watches. "Its wonderful that the watches were met with such a favourable response at the fair", says Niklas Dahlgren.
