The list appears in a context read by pilots, airline personnel, and flight enthusiasts. PlaneShark also includes directories of aircraft dealers, flight schools, and other focused providers to the aviation market.

Firms included in the directory include specialists in airline uniforms, chronographs, eyewear, flight boots, flight gloves, flight suits, helmets, and jackets. The directory does not knowingly include unauthorized watch dealers.
