Gemnation launches Baume-et-Mercier and Longines watches.

New York, NY September 1, 2004 -- Today, August 30th, 2004, Gemnation Corporation, one of the world's leading online jewelry companies, announced that it has added wristwatches to its expanding array of luxury goods.

The jewelry company has been enjoying continued growth in its diamond and jewelry lines and in an effort to expand its offering to men, has embarked on a bold initiative to sell luxury wristwatches.

"We have been seeing a surge in our online engagement sales for women's rings, but until now have had little to offer men. Their is also an ample offering of women's watches, but Ms. Berman explains that the driving decision was to improve Gemnation's male-centric offerings.

Gemnation plans to add several new watch brands to its catalog in the upcoming months.

Initial brands on offer are Baume and Mercier and Longines, both popular in the highly competitive luxury watch segment.
